Template:Use dmy dates Template:Use Indian English Bluebells School International is a secondary school in Kailash, New Delhi, India, under the leadership of Sonal Rawat (principal), Suman Kumar (director), and Mrs G. Soni (founder). The school was established in 1957 by Mari Guha.[1][2] It has exchange programmes with France, Australia, Mexico, Japan, Germany and Spain.

Philosophy

The school motto is One planet, the Earth; One family, Mankind.[3] It has commemorated Hiroshima Day jointly with Japanese students,[4] participated in a campaign against violence in Gujarat[5] and organised sporting events against embassy schools.[3] In contrast to many private schools in Delhi, Bluebells School International accepts blind students.[6]

Facilities

The school has primary and secondary libraries, science laboratories, computers and audio-visual and multi-media resources. There is an auditorium with 400 seats. There is an art gallery. There are resources to teach French, Japanese, Russian, Spanish, Chinese and German. There is a science park; thus was inaugurated by Bharat Ratna and former president A.P.J. Abdul Kalam in 2002, and helps students learn science through experiments. The school has two halls for Indian dance and Western dance.
