Belene Municipality (Template:Langx) is a municipality (obshtina) in Pleven Province, northern Bulgaria. It is located along the south bank of Danube river, by the border with Romania. The administrative centre of the area is the homonymous town of Belene.

The municipality has a territory of Template:Cvt with a population, as of December 2009, of 10,908 inhabitants.[1]
