Bayou Plaquemine Brulé (Template:IPAc-en Script error: No such module "Respell".; historically spelled Plakemine;[1] translating to "burnt persimmon bayou")[2] is a waterway in the Mermentau River basin of south Louisiana. One of the first settlers of the area was Michel Comeau.[5]
