Barycholos, common name Chimbo frogs, is a genus of small frogs in the family Strabomantidae[1] found in south-eastern Brazil and tropical lowland Ecuador.[1][2] The name Barycholos, from the Greek Script error: No such module "Lang". ("savage"), is in honor of herpetologist Jay M. Savage.[3]
