Baracus vittatus, the hedge-hopper, is a butterfly belonging to the family Hesperiidae. It is found in India and Sri Lanka.[1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8]

Description

In 1891, Edward Yerbury Watson described this butterfly as: Template:Quote

  • B. v. gotha Evans, 1949 Tamil Nadu[6][7]

Life history

The larvae feed on Gramineae.[9]
