History
Ashisawa Station opened on December 1, 1916. The station was absorbed into the JR East network upon the privatization of the JNR on April 1, 1987.Script error: No such module "Unsubst".

In fiscal 2018, the JR portion of the station was used by an average of 45 passengers daily (boarding passengers only).[1]
Surrounding area
