Aryad South is nearer to the municipal area. Subrahmanyapuram is the southern boundary and Komalapuram is the northern boundary of Aryad Panchayath. Komalapuram is in Aryad North.
An ancient mosque called the South Aryad Juma Masjid is situated there.
