Alison Baird (born 1963) is a Canadian writer. Her works include The Dragon's Egg (1994), White as the Waves (1999), The Tales of Annwn, the Willowmere Chronicles trilogy, and The Dragon Throne trilogy. She was honored by the Canadian Children's Book Centre,Script error: No such module "Unsubst". and was a finalist for the 1996 Silver Birch Award,[1] and she was a finalist for the IODE Violet Downey Book Award.Script error: No such module "Unsubst".

Baird attended the University of Toronto's Trinity College, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts Honours in English, as well as a Master of Arts.[2]
