413 Edburga is a typical Main belt asteroid. Max Wolf discovered it on 7 January 1896 at Heidelberg Observatory.[1] The origin of the name is unknown.[2] This asteroid is orbiting the Sun at a distance of Script error: No such module "val". with a period of Script error: No such module "convert". and an eccentricity of 0.34. Its orbital plane is inclined at an angle of 18.7° to the plane of the ecliptic.[1]

Analysis of the asteroid's light curve based on photometric data collected during 2011 shows a rotation period of Script error: No such module "val". with a brightness variation of Script error: No such module "val". in magnitude. This is consistent with prior results.[3] This is classified as an M-type asteroid in the Tholen system and X-type in the Bus and Binzel taxonomy,[4] with a moderate albedo and generally featureless near infrared spectra. An absorption feature has been detected at a wavelength 3 μm, suggesting this is W-type.[4] It spans a diameter of Script error: No such module "val"..[5] Radar echoes are bimodal, suggesting a bifurcated structure that is likely a contact binary.[4]
