2002 Pittsburgh Pirates season

Template:Use mdy dates Template:Infobox baseball team season The 2002 Pittsburgh Pirates season was the 121st season of the franchise; the 116th in the National League. This was their second season at PNC Park. The Pirates finished fourth in the National League Central with a record of 72–89.

The Pirates missed the playoffs for the tenth straight season, tying a divisional era record set between 1980 and 1989.
