11th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party

The 11th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party was in a five-year session from 1977 to 1982. The 10th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party preceded it. It held seven plenary sessions in the five-year period. It was formally succeeded by the 12th Central Committee of the Chinese Communist Party.

It elected the 11th Politburo of the Chinese Communist Party in 1977. It was the first Politburo elected after Mao Zedong's death in 1976. This politburo was the first to discuss China's wide economic reforms, from the preceding period of high economic control.Script error: No such module "Unsubst".

In the 3rd Session in 1978, nine persons were elected to the Central Committee: Huang Kecheng (Script error: No such module "Lang".), Song Renqiong, Hu Qiaomu (Script error: No such module "Lang".), Xi Zhongxun, Wang Renzhong (Script error: No such module "Lang".), Huang Huoqing, Chen Zaidao (Script error: No such module "Lang".), Han Guang (Script error: No such module "Lang".), Zhou Huijiu (Script error: No such module "Lang".).[1]

In the 4th Session in 1979, 12 persons were elected to the Central Committee: Wang Heshou (Script error: No such module "Lang".), Liu Lanbo (Script error: No such module "Lang".), Liu Lantao (Script error: No such module "Lang".), An Ziwen (Script error: No such module "Lang".), Li Chang (Script error: No such module "Lang".), Yang Shangkun, Zhou Yang (Script error: No such module "Lang".), Lu Dingyi (Script error: No such module "Lang".), Hong Xuezhi (Script error: No such module "Lang".), Peng Zhen, Jiang Nanxiang (Script error: No such module "Lang".), and Bo Yibo.[2]
