Nje, Nye, or Ñe (Њ њ; italics: Њ њ) is a letter of the Cyrillic script.

It is a ligature of the Cyrillic letters En Template:Angbr and Soft Sign Template:Angbr.[1] It was invented by Vuk Stefanović Karadžić for use in his 1818 dictionary, replacing the earlier digraph Template:Angbr.[1] It corresponds to the digraph Template:Angbr in Gaj's Latin alphabet for Serbo-Croatian.[1]

It is today used in Macedonian, variants of Serbo-Croatian when written in Cyrillic (Bosnian, Montenegrin, and Serbian), Itelmen and Udege, where it represents a palatal nasal Script error: No such module "IPA"., similar to the Template:Angbr in "canyon" (cf. Polish Template:Angbr, Czech and Slovak Template:Angbr, Latvian ⟨ņ⟩, Galician and Spanish Template:Angbr, Occitan, Portuguese and Vietnamese Template:Angbr, Catalan and Hungarian Template:Angbr, and Italian and French Template:Angbr).

Nje is commonly transliterated as Script error: No such module "Lang". but it is also transliterated Script error: No such module "Lang"., Script error: No such module "Lang"., Script error: No such module "Lang"., or Script error: No such module "Lang"..
