Women in Green's October 2024 edit-a-thon
Hello WikiProject Limited recognition:
WikiProject Women in Green is holding a month-long Good Article Edit-a-thon event in October 2024!
Running from October 1 to 31, 2024, WikiProject Women in Green (WiG) is hosting a Good Article (GA) edit-a-thon event with the theme Around the World in 31 Days! All experience levels welcome. Never worked on a GA project before? We'll teach you how to get started. Or maybe you're an old hand at GAs – we'd love to have you involved! Participants are invited to work on nominating and/or reviewing GA submissions related to women and women's works (e.g., books, films) during the event period. We hope to collectively cover article subjects from at least 31 countries (or broader international articles) by month's end. GA resources and one-on-one support will be provided by experienced GA editors, and participants will have the opportunity to earn a special WiG barnstar for their efforts.
We hope to see you there!

Puntland?
Since this Constitutional crisis in Somalia has begun, Puntland is now considered a de facto state. Does this wikiproject cover Puntland now? 𐩣𐩫𐩧𐩨 Abo Yemen (𓃵) 11:59, 30 May 2025 (UTC)
- Template:Smalldiv
- Puntland is not a de facto state. In the sense that it operates outside of central government control, that has been the case for much of the past few decades. In the sense that it thinks of itself as an independent state, it does not, it still considers itself part of Somalia. CMD (talk) 13:35, 4 June 2025 (UTC)
- Well in that case, the Puntland article needs to be fixed 𐩣𐩫𐩧𐩨 Abo Yemen (𓃵) 13:43, 4 June 2025 (UTC)
- Quite a few related articles probably do. Note that none of the three sources attached to the first sentence actually call it a de facto state. "shall exercise powers of an independent state" is carefully worded by the state government, and our articles should be similarly careful. CMD (talk) 16:58, 4 June 2025 (UTC)
- ah, ill look into this tomorrow. Thanks for letting me know 𐩣𐩫𐩧𐩨 Abo Yemen (𓃵) 20:52, 4 June 2025 (UTC)

Artsakh de jure not dissolved
It's still a government-in-exile. Would it make sense to keep it because of that? Or are governments-in-exile not allowed there? Am I missig something? wikipedia-kxeon mailbox 20:32, 6 June 2025 (UTC)
- That doesn't seem different from any other government in exile. For what it's worth, the project should cover historical entities (at least post-WWII), but I don't see the presence or absence of a government in exile as affecting that. CMD (talk) 02:01, 7 June 2025 (UTC)
