Block ciphers
It was pretty easy to find (by searching on the words in your clues) that what you are referring to are all block cipher algorithms. (Blowfish, FROG, SHACAL, Serpent, FOX, and SHARK in the order of your list.) But I don't know where to go from there. Zoicon5 21:45, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
- It may refer to NESSIE. There are 22 representatives listed from a number of European countries; five of these researchers have wikipedia articles. Eugene van der Pijll 22:47, 20 January 2006 (UTC)
- There are still some clues to be solved in the last sentence, which would complete your answer. -- Ravn 13:55, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
- NESSIE → Nessie → Cryptozoology? (Which is, by the way, NOT the science of ciphers named after animals.) -- Eugene van der Pijll 14:56, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
- Is it not? Well, I award you these 10 points nonetheless. ;) -- Ravn 17:23, 21 January 2006 (UTC)
