The Pope and...a king?

The guy in red is a Pope, and he's meeting the king of some country. That's my guess.--HereToHelp (talk • contribs) 18:33, 29 January 2006 (UTC)

I thought is was a cardinal for the longest time. But when I finally changed my search to pope meeting painting, I got an article for Hasekura Tsunenaga, a Japanese samurai - not a king. It describes the meeting of Hasekura and his embassy with Pope Paul V in Rome, in 1615.
