Welcome to WikiProject Thailand! This group was formed to improve Wikipedia's coverage and organization of articles on Thailand in a spirit of cooperation. This page and its subpages contain their suggestions and various resources; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians interested in the topic. If you would like to help, please add yourself as a participant in the project, inquire on the talk page, and see the to-do list, below.

Scope

This WikiProject includes within its scope all articles related to Thailand, its cities, geography, transportation, culture, history and so on. It aims to expand Wikipedia's resources on Thailand in a fair and accurate manner. All of these articles should be contained within the Category:Thailand or one of its subcategories. (However, not all articles under the category tree are relevant to the project; for example, only some articles under Category:Films shot in Thailand are covered by WikiProject Thailand.)

• Portal:Thailand is the associated Wikipedia portal of WikiProject Thailand.
• Outline of Thailand, maintained jointly with WikiProject Outlines - Currently under construction is an outline of knowledge and site map of Wikipedia. One portion of it is dedicated to coverage on Thailand. If you'd like to easily find your way around the topics about Thailand, that's the page to do it on. Your help is needed to complete and maintain this outline! Please put it on your watchlist. Thank you.
• Category:Thailand is the top-level Wikipedia category for articles related to Thailand.

WikiProject organization

Task forces

• The Provinces task force, formerly WikiProject Thai provinces, coordinated the creation of articles on Thailand's provinces, and now contains some advice on the content and formatting of province articles.
• The Districts task force, formerly WikiProject Thai districts, coordinated the creation of articles on all Thai districts (amphoe and khet), which was completed in 2007. It is now retained as a task force for historical reference.
