Welcome to the British TV channels task force! Formerly the WikiProject British TV channels, the project became a task force under the new WikiProject British television on 29 December 2011. Our aim is to create good articles for all British TV Channels.

Hierarchy definition

Purely British TV channels should be included in Category:Television channels in the United Kingdom.

Where the UK just broadcasts a foreign network as it is broadcast in that country (eg Fox News or TV5 that article should be included in Category:Foreign television channels broadcasting in the United Kingdom

Templates

Project banner

The Template:Tl project banner template should be added (not subst:ed) to the talk page of every article within the scope of the project. While the template does not require any additional parameters, it has a number of optional ones that add various extra features to the banner. Script error: No such module "WikiProject banner".

Infoboxes

Template:Main other Script error: No such module "Infobox".Template:Template otherTemplate:Main otherScript error: No such module "Check for unknown parameters". A new infobox for British and Irish TV channels has been designed.

Articles that are TV channels that are stubs should be tagged with the template Template:Tl which looks like
