- Script error: No such module "user". Am quite interested in many of the NRMs. I like and have participated in many whose teachings originated in the Far East. Am especially interested in one known as The Holy Order of Mans, a movement/group with elements of Rosicrucian and far Eastern teachings, which started in 1968 and lasted until the late 1980's when a schism occurred between those wanting to convert to the Orthodox Church of America and those who didn't. Those who felt loyalty to the original forms of the Order went on to form many modern offshoot groups, such as the Science of Man, Gnostic Order of Christ, Order of Christ Sopia, The American Temple, The Servants of the Way! Recently a new group of original Order priests and teachers has reincorporated the Holy Order of Mans name, and begun a new association based on the teachings and practices of the old Holy Order of Mans. 1:15, 3 November 2014 (UTC)

- Script error: No such module "user". - I am a cult awareness advocate and interested in Large Group Awareness Training particularly Landmark Worldwide and Scientology, as I was a participant in Landmarks programs for five years. Also highlighting the dangers of thought reform techniques and behaviour modification techniques on neurodivergent and vulnerable people. I also have knowledge of groups like One Taste who practiced Orgasmic Meditation (now renamed to Om Foundation). I am a member of the International Cultic Studies Association so have access to their journals also.

- We should have at least one navigation template for each of the NRMs we deal with which have more than one extant article dealing with them, as well as navigation templates for the subject of NRMs in general and for any of the various "types" of NRMs, like cargo cults, UFO religions, etc. These templates should all be listed below.

- Wikipedia:WikiProject Religion/New religious movements work group/Prospectus: Lists of articles in print reference works related to NRMs that we may or may not have articles on. Many redlinks, and as it is highly likely anything here is notable, it is good for if you want to make more pages.

Sources
- Nova Religo: Nova Religio is the main NRM/Cult academic journal. Earlier issues accessible through JSTOR, later through Project Muse, both accessible through the WPL.
- Archives de sciences sociales des religions: Archives de sciences sociales des religions, the major French sociology of religion journal. Some English articles. Not exclusively NRM focused, but covers many NRM topics. Open access, with earlier articles available through the Persée portal and later articles available through OpenEdition Journals.
- International Cultic Studies Association: International Cultic Studies Association, anti-cult organization, publisher of several peer reviewed publications like Cultic Studies Journal, Cultic Studies Review, International Journal of Cultic Studies. Many of their articles are online for free, particularly good for book reviews. Biased but not unreliable. Several of their publications are accessible through the WPL resource EBSCO.
- Cult Education Institute: Anti-cult website run by Rick Alan Ross, not reliable itself but contains many good archived materials.
- CESNUR: CESNUR, contains a number of archived articles related to new religious movements. CESNUR is not reliable as its own source, however many articles have been published in peer reviewed publications and are available in free form here. Runs the Bitter Winter magazine, which due to the same issues is also not considered reliable as a source, but sometimes can be a directory or contain free versions of otherwise more obscure/paywalled accurate information.
