WP:PW is currently hosting the first Professional Wrestling Stub Reduction Drive. Details can be found here and all members are encouraged to get involved, with two weeks left to go.
Based on the members list, there are currently 220 members participating in WikiProject Professional wrestling.

Recent Professional Wrestling News

WWE held it's seventh annual draft on the April 13 episode of Raw, in which 12 wrestlers were drafted to different brands.
On April 15, the Japanese based promotion Dragon Gate announced it was expanding into the United States, with it's first show scheduled for July 25 in Philadelphia, Pennsylannia.
On April 15, WWE held it's Supplemental Draft in which 24 wrestlers were drafted to different brands.
On April 16:

Daniel Covell returned to TNA television under his "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels character on Impact!.
Superstars, a new WWE television series, debuted on WGN America in the United States.

At Lockdown on April 19:

Angelina Love defeated Taylor Wilde and defending champion Awesome Kong in a three way six sides of steel cage match to win the TNA Women's Knockout Championship.
Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) defeated Beer Money, Inc. (Robert Roode and James Storm) to win the TNA World Tag Team Championship and retain the IWGP Tag Team Championship in a Philadelphia Street Fight.
Mick Foley defeated defending champion Sting in a six sides of steel cage match to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
Bobby Lashley made his TNA debut.

On the April 23 episode of Impact!, William Mueller made his TNA debut as "Jethro Holliday".

Editing Tips

This is a section in the newsletter devoted to help familiarize project members with the Manual of Style and general editing tips.

Avoid using dirtsheets as sources. Adhere to WP:RS when adding information with a source to articles. For a list of reliable and unreliable wrestling-related sources see Wikipedia:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Style guide#Sources.
Refer to WP:NC during the process of renaming an article, if a name does not adhere to these guidelines, be bold and move the article to the correct target name. If there is a naming conflict, follow the steps to a resolution or discuss the move on the project's talk page.
Avoid overlinking in an article. If a subject has been linked once already in the body paragraphs, there is no need to link it again. Lists are the only exceptions to this policy.
The lead section of an article should introduce the subject and summarize the entire article's contents. The size of the lead will depend on the size of the article.
Adhere strictly to the Biographies of living persons policy when adding to information to biography articles.

Only add controversial, possibly contentious or libellous information if it comes from a reliable source and is verifiable.
Make sure that all information contained in biographies of living persons is written from a non-point of view perspective.
