Mission and Scope
The general mission of this project is to improve all articles related to the Philadelphia Phillies.
These are just some of the types of articles that would fall under the WikiProject's scope.
- It is a page on a Phillies player, past or present
- It is a page on a Phillies coach or manager, past or present
- It is a page on a member of Phillies management or ownership, past or present
- It is a page on a Phillies broadcaster, past or present
- It is a page on a Phillies season
- It is a page on a World Series, or other playoff series, the Phillies were in
- It is a page on a current Phillies minor leaguer
- It is a page on a former Phillies prospect who was traded, but received a good amount of media coverage in Philadelphia
- It is a page on a current minor league affiliate, or past ones whose affiliation with the Phillies is notable
- It is a page on a member of a minor league affiliate's coaching staff, ownership, or management, past or present
- It is a page on a book, television show, radio program, or movie featuring the Phillies
- It is a page on any current or former stadiums the Phillies played in
- It is a page on any other topic of interest to a Phillies fan
Parentage
The parent WikiProjects of WikiProject Philadelphia Phillies are WikiProject Baseball and WikiProject Philadelphia. It is also under the bailiwick of WikiProject Sports.

- Script error: No such module "user". - I have been a contributor to the Phillies page and helped rebuild the Phillies season records page as well. One of my main goals as part of the WikiProject Philadelphia Phillies is to get historical season pages completed. There are a lot of blanks. Sometime in the near future, I will make an effort to organize task forces for the historical seasons, perhaps by decade or some other constraint of time. I've also volunteered to be the project coordinator, so you can direct questions to me here if you'd like.

- Script error: No such module "user". - I am working on List of Philadelphia Phillies minor league affiliates and List of Philadelphia Phillies turn back the clock games. I also work on Philadelphia ballparks and Negro League ballclubs.

- Script error: No such module "user". - I have been a Phillies fan since I was a little kid and I could always make sure that the uniforms are up to date.
- Script error: No such module "user". - I too have been a Phillies fan since I was a little kid, in the mid-1960s. My brothers and I wore No. 14 (Jim Bunning) pajamas. When the Phils were playing at night on the West Coast (L.A. and San Fran), I listened to the transistor radio (next to my ear) as I lay in bed (supposedly asleep). I too am happy to help in whatever way I can.
