File:Kevin Garnett.JPGThe Boston Celtics task force was formed on May 29, 2011 as a task force of the NBA Project after the WikiProject Boston Celtics went inactive in 2010. Although the NBA is covered fairly well on Wikipedia, there is so much more that can be done! This project is dedicated to expanding the coverage of the Celtics on Wikipedia, including the history, records, statistics, players, coaches, and any other subject that is related to the Boston Celtics!
If you feel that you can have a positive contribution to the project, become a member by joining the list of members. If you don't know what to write or where to begin, or if you have doubts or ideas on how to improve an article, please address the project's discussion forum.
Goals
The project aims primarily to:
Create and improve articles whose content is connected to the Boston Celtics organization.
Set up consistent structural and graphical layouts for displaying information on these articles.

Label project-untagged pages by adding the Template:Tl template banner to their talk page. Tagged pages are automatically listed under a namespace-specific category (Template:Cl (RC's).)
Help assessing tagged pages by defining the quality parameters, on the template banner, such as the class (completeness status) and interest to the project.
