Template:LearningObject A Learning object is an object used to present a large context in a small package. At Wikiversity, Superclass constructs are used to establish learning situations that are capable of keeping students focused upon tasks. The philology is that m:educational processes are fueled by attention to interesting "things" (objects). The table to the right is designed to capture the imagination of a learner. The philosophy is that by capturing the imagination, the program is able to adapt to the needs of the student — not the other way around.
In the context of sociology, the "novelties" in the learning object are chosen relative to the m:learner's attributes which are tracked by the m:grading automaton and used to build a maturity profile.
