The Template:Tl template has a class= parameter that provides an article assessment ratings:

The following values may be used for the parameters. Please note that you must type them exactly as below as they are case-sensitive:

Article quality

• FA (adds articles to Category:FA-Class Belfast-related articles)
• A (adds articles to Category:A-Class Belfast-related articles)
• GA (adds articles to Category:GA-Class Belfast-related articles)
• B (adds articles to Category:B-Class Belfast-related articles)
• Start (adds articles to Category:Start-Class Belfast-related articles)
• Stub (adds articles to Category:Stub-Class Belfast-related articles)
• Cat (Belfast related categories Category:WikiProject Belfast categories)
• Dab (Disambiguation pages relating to Belfast, Category:Disambig-Class Belfast pages)
• Template Belfast related templates, Category:WikiProject Belfast templates)

If a rating is not assigned when the Template:Tl is added, the article will be filed in Category:Unassessed Belfast-related articles by default. If assessing the article, the class should be assigned according to the grading scheme. Article importance

• Top (adds articles to Category:Top-importance Belfast-related articles)
• High (adds articles to Category:High-importance Belfast-related articles)
• Mid (adds articles to Category:Mid-importance Belfast-related articles)
• Low (adds articles to Category:Low-importance Belfast-related articles)

If an importance rating is not assigned, the article will be filed in Category:Unknown-importance Belfast-related articles by default.

class="assess-fa " style="color:inherit; background: Template:Class/colour; text-align: center; " | Template:Class/icon FA	Reserved exclusively for articles that have received "Featured article" status after peer review, and meet the current criteria for featured articles. Example: Algorithm
class="assess-a " style="color:inherit; background: Template:Class/colour; text-align:center; " | Template:Class/icon A	The article provides a well-written, reasonably clear and complete description of the topic, as described in How to write a Great Article. It includes a well-written introduction to the topic, and an appropriate series of headings to break up the article. It should have sufficient external literature references, preferably from textbooks or peer-reviewed papers rather than websites. It contain illustrations where apropriate (with no copyright problems). It should be at the stage where it meets the criteria for or is a Good article. Example: Ammonia (as of Oct 2005).
class="assess-b " style="color:inherit; background: Template:Class/colour; text-align: center; " | B	The article is "almost there" but it may be missing one of the following: references, balance of content, or an important section. Alternatively, the English may need a comprehensive rewrite to make it flow, or it may need to be edited to follow standard English spelling and conventions. For maths articles, articles which are overly technical and fail to explain the basics would often end up here. Example: Antarctica (as of Oct 2005) is a good start but contains too many lists, and it needs more prose content & references.
class="assess-start " style="color:inherit; background: Template:Class/colour; text-align: center; " | Start	The article has a good amount of content, but it is still weak in certain areas, and may lack a table. For example an article on Africa might cover the geography well, but be weak on history and culture. Example: Arithmetic (as of Oct 2005).
class="assess-stub " style="color:inherit; background: Template:Class/colour; text-align: center; " | Stub	The article is either a very short article or a stub that will need a lot of work to bring it to A-Class level, although there may be a significant amount of material in the article.

Need: The article's importance, regardless of its quality

class="import-low " style="text-align:center; color:inherit; background:Template:Importance/colour; " | Low	Subject is peripheral knowledge, possibly trivial
