UPDATED FEB 10, 2017: Wow, forgot that I already signed up for this. Was just about to do so, since I figured I might as well in light of my recent work on the Modest Mouse discography. Updated list of favorite alternative bands: Radiohead, The Weakerthans, Modest Mouse, Jane's Addiction, Muse, The National, etc.

In particular, I have a very comprehensive knowledge of U.K. britpop, shoegaze, indie pop and indie rock bands but there are quite a few U.S. bands that I’m knowledgeable about too. Additionally I have expert knowledge of R.E.M.. I am a stickler for accuracy and I'll help out anywhere I can.

I'm less knowledgeable about mainstream groups that play in this genre (i.e. coldplay), but I have a good knowledge of current indie groups, most significantly in the folk/ freak folk (i.e. The Mountain Goats Animal Collective) and punk/pop-punk genres.
