Welcome to Files for Upload, part of WikiProject Articles for creation. This process was created to allow unregistered users to add new files to Wikipedia with the assistance of experienced Wikipedians. If you would like to upload an image yourself, you can create an account and after four days and 10 edits you will be autoconfirmed and able to upload files. However, please consider uploading free files over at Wikimedia Commons (guide here).

Reviewing requests

If you are an experienced editor, then you can help out by reviewing requests. Make sure you're familiar with Wikipedia's policies on non-free content (or simplified version). Learn about Wikipedia's various copyright tags. Read the guide on how to review file upload requests. Note that this page's editnotice contains an expandable cheat sheet with all the templates used in reviewing requests. After uploading the file tag its talk page with Template:Tls. Remember to subst all templates. Notify the requester at their talk page using Template:Tls ~~~~ whenever you act on their request. You are responsible for anything you upload, so make sure you are comfortable that the file satisfies Wikipedia's policies first. If the file is non-free, then you must insert the file in the appropriate article right away in order to comply with the non-free content criteria.

This and File:PNW Superstar Extravaganza.jpg are not "posters", but rather the cover page of the souvenir programs sold at the event. Perhaps some effort could be made to determine if the publications are actually PD per the conditions described in Template:Tl? Later programs did bear copyright notices and thus are still copyrighted, but they appeared to have been published by a different entity. Also, I second the need for another source. Facebook downscales photos uploaded to their site. Further downscaling to meet Wikipedia's size requirements may seriously compromise the readability of the finished product. I haven't been able to find this image anywhere else. It'd be great is this turned out to be PD but I'm not really clear on how to submit under those licenses (see Wikipedia:Files_for_upload/March_2025#File:George_Weingeroff_-_Wrestling_Revue_-_January_1973.jpg). 173.162.220.17 (talk) 19:13, 21 June 2025 (UTC)

Hmmm, can I invoke WP:CIR in addressing the people who review requests here? There are three files on Commons from that very same issue of Wrestling Revue. At least one of them was re-licensed as Template:Tl following a deletion request, as "All rights reserved" is not an element used in determining a valid copyright notice (see the text rendered by the template for more information).
