  • This image does not provide anything to readers' understanding of the article that the other cover image does not. Fails WP:NFCC#8 and WP:NFCC#3a. Stifle (talk) 14:54, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
    • It is common practice to include album covers of reissues if they differ from the original release. --Avant-garde a clue-hexaChord2 15:04, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
      • That's arguable too, and in any case being common practice would not make it compliant with policy. Stifle (talk) 16:55, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
        • Which policy forbids alternative covers? If it is forbidden, why is there an alternative album cover section in the album infobox? This cover does not fail WP:NFCC#8, otherwise all album covers would fail. It does not fail WP:NFCC#3a as it helps to illustrate the two different releases of this album, having different track lists and being released by different labels. --Avant-garde a clue-hexaChord2 17:08, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Keep Nothing wrong with showing an alternative cover. It still serves a purpose of identification of the product, as someone might not be familiar with the first cover. Ten Pound Hammer, his otters and a clue-bat • (Many otters • One bat • One hammer) 17:22, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Delete Non free images are only allowed when they provide usefull information that can not be easily conveyed by other means (criteria #1), in this case the second cover is identical to the fist except for some color changes. The words already in the article ("The cover of the reissue is identical to the original, save for some colour changes.") explain it all quite elequently, no second image needed.— Preceding unsigned comment added by Sherool (talk • contribs)
  • Keep per my above comments. --Avant-garde a clue-hexaChord2 09:34, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Delete - clearly fails NFCC#1 - can be replaced with a simple piece of text describing the small differences between the main image and this one. - Peripitus (Talk) 13:33, 26 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Delete, one image of the album is fine. We don't include multiple book covers for books that have been released many times under different covers. This image gives no useful info. – Quadell (talk) 18:54, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Comment - What about those: The Downward Spiral, Horses (album), The Paul Simon Songbook, Youthanasia, The Beatles (album), Waterloo (album), Scarlet's Walk, These Days (Bon Jovi album), Magical Mystery Tour (album), White Pony, Enema of the State, Meddle, The Dark Side of the Moon, The Wall, The Division Bell and dozens more here. --Avant-garde a clue-hexaChord2 19:12, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
1/2 a dozen of those are now up for deletion. There are hundreds of close-to-identical images that there is no convincing reason under NFCC for hosting....they've just not been nominated for deletion yet. - Peripitus (Talk) 07:21, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
  • Delete Without adding another image, you can simply state the changes (which are exclusively in color choices...which are simply inverted). Accordingly it violates WP:NFCC#3. — BQZip01 — talk 00:15, 29 May 2009 (UTC)

    • Only one image is used to illustrate the respective section in the article. --Avant-garde a clue-hexaChord2 15:01, 23 May 2009 (UTC)
      • There are two images in the article; one would suffice. Stifle (talk) 08:10, 27 May 2009 (UTC)
