Reviews

Hi, just some quick comments based on your edits to Scottish Fold. You might want to make your edit summary for non minor edits more reflective of the changes made instead of just using "add", "change" etc. Also you should untick the "This is a minor edit" box when not making minor edits. This will make it easier for other editors to review the changes. Many statements are over-referenced. There is no need for more than one in most cases. Sources such as petfinder or petplace probably don't meet the reliable source standards. --Dodo bird (talk) 05:37, 26 July 2008 (UTC)

Thank you!
Most edits easy to see, hence short summaries.
Overreferenced better than underreferenced...
...seen single words with 5+ references.
And referenced articles deleted.
I agree about overreferencing; necessary evil.
Reliable source? You're likely right.
But if info in not contested, threshhold goes down?
See new page added tonight.
Again, thank you much.

Questions

  1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?
    Scottish Fold(start-to-finish)
    Nomi Sunrider(start-to-finish)
    Tobias(start-to-finish)
  2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?
No. Just vandals. I hunt them.
And "However". Hate that word in articles!
    Since originally, I have.
    • ONE Was regarding my signature. Rather ostentatious. I didn't like changing it and was resistant, but after a couple users approached me constructively ("I'd be willing to help you fix it" rather than "it's obnoxious"), I changed it and kept asking for feedback to make sure everone "went home happy".
    • TWO Was a series of unrelated misunderstandings. One over the signature, one over a template I made, and one I don't even remember. Bottom line: They all resolved to everyone's satisfaction and nobody left with hard feelings (as far as I know). That's the point... we all get along.
