I admit that I am a fairly new user on Wikipedia, though I was editing a long while before I realized the wonderful advantages of signing up for a username. I am a fast learner, and, after heavy research on policies, guidelines, and style, I have set out on a task to improve this wonderful resource. Also, I realize that my edit count is relatively low, but if one takes the time to review the dates, one may see that one the days I settled down for a day of editing, my contributions have been quite sizable.

• 266 edits - you're off to a good start! I have some suggestions to get you started:

1. Try to increase the number of major contributions you make to articles, such as rewriting or adding sections of prose and generally improving their overall quality. RfA participants generally like to see candidates with a lengthy history of article writing, since it demonstrates experience in actually building an encyclopedia. You don't have to get articles up to Featured Article class, but every little bit helps.
2. I'd recommend you expand your activities into other areas of Wikipedia maintenance, such as recent change patrol, or weighing in on AfD debates, since those are the areas that really teach people about Wikipedia's inclusion policies. Furthermore, you're unlikely to be given adminship if you intend to focus on activities that can largely be done without the additional admin tools (such as blocking users, protecting and deleting pages, etc). Thus, it's best to develop involvement in these areas, including the use of speedy deletion tags on newly-created articles, to demonstrate that you would actually benefit from having those tools.
3. Finally, I'd recommend you wait until you have around 1,000 or more article edits, and 2,000+ total edits, before running for adminship: most RfA voters are loathe to support people that don't meet their personaly requirements, which are often very, very high. You can find those standards here. However, at your current rate of contribution, you'll be there in a few months' time - it's really no trouble to get there, at all.

• I hope this helps - be aware, adminship at Wikipedia is very much akin to being hired as a janitor, so be prepared to commit yourself for a long time before starting an RfA. • Just a quick comment: in your answer to the first question, below, and your introduction above, you mention the low prestige of your activities and "admitting" that you have a low edit count. I'd just like to assure that nobody here is judged by the "prestige" of what they do, nor the number of edits they've made. There's nothing to be ashamed of in being new to the project, so you shouldn't worry about it: very few users are crass enough to care. Questions

1. Of your contributions to Wikipedia, are there any about which you are particularly pleased, and why?

   My pet project lately has been categorizing and patrolling new articles. It is not a very prestigious concentration, but it needs to be done. I plan to use my Admin priviliges to do more significant changes in the less significant area of new articles.

2. Have you been in any conflicts over editing in the past or do you feel other users have caused you stress? How have you dealt with it and how will you deal with it in the future?

   I have never really had much editing conflict, simply for the fact that the editing I have done has been purely structural, and non-intrusive. As my WikiEditing skills grow, I plan on expanding my horizons to bigger and more "important" things.
