- Image:Arcadia7.jpg (history · last edit) -- can't find a copy online, but I once had a copy of the magazine in which this image was published. The image is by photographer Dean Chamberlain, and is not a promotional/press kit photo as the tag claims. — Catherine\talk 06:37, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- Image:Raymond Chen, PDC05.jpg (history · last edit) from [3]. The terms of use seem pretty explicit: "use of such Documents from the Services ... will not be copied or posted on any network computer or broadcast in any media". — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.44.46.110 (talk • contribs) 20:29, 9 October 2006
- I have already reported the copyright status of this image to User:Ta bu shi da yu, the administrator who was the first to question it, and he kept the image. I have no idea why I have to explain this again. --tyomitch 16:03, 9 October 2006 (UTC)
- Because you were both wrong. A video made by an MS employee was posted to an MS website. You are trying to claim that this is covered by the terms of use for material posted by the public. Don't you see how implausible this is? 217.44.46.110 19:02, 9 October 2006 (UTC)

- Chen doesn't work for Channel9, afaik. Therefore, he cannot be the copyright holder for this image. Why should his opinion on the subject be honored any more than anyone else's? --tyomitch 07:07, 10 October 2006 (UTC)
- Where is the grant from the copyright holder giving permission for this use? If there is no grant, there is no permission, and WP cannot use it, even if we don't know who the true copyright holder is. --bd_ 01:18, 12 October 2006 (UTC)
