Discussion

Template:BotTrial Okay, but only 50 edits, and only double-redirect fixes. – Quadell (talk) 18:52, 11 August 2008 (UTC)

File:Yes check.svg Done 50 edits between 5:10, 12 August ~ 3:48, 13 August--Alex S.H. Lin 07:51, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
Excellent. It seems to handle redirects to subsections, Template:Tl, and other potentially tricky bits. The only problem I see is this, which doesn't seem to redirect to the correct section after the change. Any idea what happened here? – Quadell (talk) 13:03, 13 August 2008 (UTC)
Dunno, but copying and pasting the section title into the link (as in Bracket#Angle brackets or chevrons 〈 〉) doesn't work either. Curiously, however, Bracket#Angle brackets or chevrons 〈 〉 (using HTML character entities) does work. I suspect some Unicode normalization weirdness — might be worth reporting this as a MediaWiki bug. Not really a bug with the bot, except insofar as it would've been better if it'd just left the part after the # untouched. —Ilmari Karonen (talk) 02:09, 15 August 2008 (UTC)

Sorry for no response, I've no idea about this edit, maybe it's a bug. I just reported it to sf.net--Alex S.H. Lin 06:02, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

File:Symbol confirmed.svg Approved. That's fine. But make sure not to make more than, say, 6 edits per minute. – Quadell (talk) 18:43, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
