Backround:
Born in Milford, Massachusetts, and moving to Blythewood South Carolina when he was eleven. Carlton grew up in a rural town. During his 11th grade year he started working on his first CD called “The Blu’ Book”, based off of his previous written poetry book called “Blu’ Book”. During his 12th grade year at Ridgeview High school Carlton started writing his next poetry book called the “The Read Book”. While getting ready to leave for Norfolk State University, Carlton completed his newest R&B CD called “The Prince of Payne: Volume 1. His freshmen year at Norfolk State University started with the composition of the “The Black Book”(unfinished) cancelled in 2005. After transferring to South Carolina State University, Carlton started focusing on his talent with music recording and beats, and on March 3rd 2007 Carlton released the single “You are my Fire”. During his Junior year at South Carolina State University, Carlton designed a speech pathology computer program, and a special version of cruise control.
Music Career
During 10th grade Carlton started playing and familiarizing himself with hip hop ejay 4. After focusing on just making beats for 5 months Carlton finally decided to see if he lyrics from his poems could match up. On December 3rd, 2003 Carlton released his first CD entitled “The Blu Book”. The Blu’ Book described the bottled up emotions and the humor that Carlton had held inside during his high school years. Through the CD only had 5 tracks and is very rare, and hard to be found in circulation. This CD included the incredible hit of “Fine Ass Girl”. Fine Ass Girl was known to the fans of Carlton Payne as the catchy song that I can’t get out of my head. On April 5th, 2004 “Fine Ass Girl” received partial radio play in San Francisco, California. The station is no longer operating. The Blu’ Book’s tracks included: 1. Fine Ass Girl 2. I’m Looking for a Girl 3. Personali “T” 4. When you are sick 5. I wish
In his Final year of high school Carlton, once again wanted to get some stuff off of his mind, and started working on “The Prince of Payne: Volume 1”. This time Carlton used past beats that he created with hip hop ejay, and his new modern up to date beats created with Sony Acid Pro. Carlton started recording this CD during April of 2004, and finalized in June of 2005. Although he put a lot of time and effort into his work, it was not able to beat the fan appreciation of “Fine Ass Girl”. Carlton’s exclusive CD was produced by his own record label Cp3izzle Productions. This new CD included 12 new tracks, one featuring Mandy Moore. Only six songs were actually written and performed on the CD, everything else was a complete free style. On June 17th 2005, “The Prince of Payne: Volume 1” was released. The song Eating part 1, was deemed “incredibly funny”. The Prince of Payne: Volume 1’s tracks included: 1. Oh 2. Biotch 3. Fantasy(written) 4. Walk with me home(featuring Mandy Moore and Cp3) 5. Babygirl 6. Silver and Platinum 7. Perfect Body(written) 8. Fine Ass Girl(extended version)(written) 9. Lean on Me(written) 10. Mascara(written) 11. Eating Part 1(written) 12. Eating Part 2

KPET
KPET is a locally owned and locally managed radio station in Lamesa, TX. The station features Classic Country Music, local news and sports, and a heavy diet of local and area sporting events. KPET is the originating station for all Lamesa High School Basketball and Football.
It went on the air in 1947 and was founded by Kermit Ashby (who also started KCAN Canyon TX and KCAS Slaton TX). Until the mid sixties the studios were at the south edge of downtown lamesa on South 1st street. The station studios and tower are southwest of the city, near the municipal golf course. Studios were downtown in the early days and moved to the tower in the 1960s.
The call letters stand for PETroleum. There was a sister FM (1977 to 1983) called KCOT for "COTton". That station moved it's operation out of town to a larger metro area in 1983.
KPET has had many owners over the years. The Ashby group sold to the Conner family. Later came the Bradburys, and in 1977 a group headed by Gaylon Gilbert. Gilbert sold to Teller Radio in 1983. The Morgan Dowdy group came next, and a local group took over in 1991.
The station airs country music, and news from both ABC radio and the Texas State Network. Frequenct farm broadcasts include syndicated services from Voice of Southwest Agriculture and the KFLP network. Many local sports are aired live, and Texas Rangers Baseball, Dallas Cowboys Football, and Texas Tech Red Raiders sports.
The general manager Don Sitton has been with the station since 1991.
KPET operates a newsroom that covers the area between Lubbock, Tx to the north and Midland and Odessa, TX to the south. This includes extra coverage of farm and ranch activities in the surround areas and includes Brownfield, TX, Tahoka, TX, and Post, Tx. Special attention is paid to area weather and the road conditions in the nine county area. The station has received awards for spot news coverage and for on the scene reportage of weather happenings including live broadcasts of tornados striking the city of Lamesa.
Station audio is also carried on two channels on Northland Cable in Lamesa.

The Links at Spanish Bay
The Links at Spanish Bay is a golf course designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., Tom Watson, and Sandy Tatum, at Pebble Beach, California, to resemble the original courses in Scotland. Conceived in the 1970s on an old sand mine and opened in 1987, Spanish Bay is the newest course in Pebble Beach. The links, hugging the Pacific Ocean shoreline, is ranked No. 43 on Golf Magazine’s Top 100 public courses in America.
It is said that the annual Pebble Beach Pro-Am skips Spanish Bay in favor of Spyglass, Pebble Beach, and Poppy Hills in order to preserve the protected dunes and vegetation.
Greens fees at Spanish Bay are $250 including cart for resort guests and $250 plus cart fees for non-resort guests. This 18-hole par 72 is located at The Inn at Spanish Bay on 17 Mile Drive near Pacific Grove & Asilomar State Beach. Visitors may walk into Spanish Bay from Asilomar via the beach or the boardwalk.

Kills And Thrills
Kills And Thrills is a band based out of New York formed in 2005. Growing up on Long Island in the pinnacle of the idie music boom and playing together in previous musical endeavors together, long time friends Chris Vetter and Brian Donovan decided to start taking the musical asperations into a heavier and more ambient sound. After recruiting drummer Danny Catalano and fellow friend Matt Lostritto to do vocals, the band put together a 2 track demo featuring the songs "New City" and "This Wasn't In The Script". Received well by many local fans of heavy music, the band continued to play as a four piece (attracting the attention of sponsers Ordinary Clothing) until August of 2006.
The band then replaced Brian with bassist Robert Delauro (Brian switched over to keyboards) and Paul Cadena on as a second guitarist. After which the band went on to record the tentatively titled "Your Body A Masquerede EP" at VuDu Studios in Freeport with Mike Watts and Rich Leigey. During the recording process the band decided to kick out Matt and hold off recording until a new singer was found. Continuing to play shows with Chris now covering vocals the bands sound has evolved into a bigger and more dynamic sound than anything they had ever heard. It wasn't until the summer of 2007 that Rob and Paul left the band to perform other musical endeavors. (They later went on to tour with Hopesfall during the release of Magnetic North.)
Ultimatley deciding that Chris and Brian should continue doing vocals Kills And Thrills then released two songs from the VuDu recording sessions titled "Code Blue" and "You're What The French Call "Les Incompetant". While acquiring Anthony Grambo on bass (while still looking for a new guitarist), Kills And Thrills still persists to create a fresh, unique sound through hard work, vast ambition, and a "No Boundaries" attitude that doesn't lock them in with their fellow peers.

Maria Costello
- I'm declining this submission. Not every instance of the Guinness World Records is worth mentioning on Wikipedia. Thanks for the idea, though. Shalom Hello 12:59, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
Maria Costello holds a Guinness Book World Record as the fastest female racer to lap the Isle of Man TT course. She accomplished this at the 2006 TT in the SuperStock class on a Suzuki, she lapped at 114.73mph. In 2005 at The Manx GP in the Isle of Man she finished third in the Ultralightweight Class on a Honda 400 and made history by becoming the first woman to stand on the podium at a Isle of Man Race Meeting.

SpectraLink Voice Priority (SVP) protocol

SpectraLink Voice Priority (SVP) is an open, straightforward QoS approach that has been adopted by most leading vendors of WLAN APs. SVP favors isochronous voice packets over asynchronous data packets when contending for the wireless medium and when transmitting packets onto the wired LAN. The basis of the SVP approach is that random backoff intervals and unprioritized queuing at the AP can cause significant delays to voice traffic. Modifying AP behavior to recognize and prioritize voice packets increases the probability of better performance while continuing to treat asynchronous data packets normally.
SVP is fully compatible with the 802.11 and 802.11b standards and is not intended to replace future QoS mechanisms that may be ratified by the IEEE committee. However, at this time, no generally accepted standard for isochronous traffic prioritization has been validated or accepted by the market. In the absence of an agreed-upon or proven standard, SpectraLink has developed SVP in order to provide customers with a practical telephony solution today. SpectraLink is committed to working with the IEEE and other 802.11 vendors to deliver superior voice quality over wireless LANs.
Implementing SVP on 802.11 APs
In 802.11 networks, packet delays of varying lengths
will occur due to the random backoff periods
required in the standard. As part of the MAC layer
implementation of carrier sense multiple
access/collision avoidance (CSMA/CA), random
backoff is required after every packet transmission.
The intent is to provide equal access to the media.
With voice devices, the resulting variable delays are
undesirable. The SVP approach specifies a backoff
value of zero for the AP whenever the next packet to
be transmitted is a voice packet. This
implementation is compatible with the 802.11
standard, as zero is a valid backoff number.

Parker v. Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corp. (1970)
A famous court case where Shirley MacLaine brought suit against Fox Film Corp. for breach of contract.
Contracts
Fox and Shirley MacLaine signed a contract for $750,000, spread over the course of 13 weeks, to make the film "Bloomer Girl" based on the famous musical by the same name about women's rights activist Amelia Bloomer. MacLaine got rights to choose a film director, her dancing director, and rights to approve screenplay. Fox cancelled the musical before shooting began.
Breach
Fox's cancellation was a breach of contract. For replacement Fox offered MacLaine a leading part in a serious western movie entitled "Big Country, Big Man" for same total salary, though the contract was notably lacking her control over the directors and screenplay. Certain terms differed in the two contracts - location, genre, musical, and others. The plaintiff rejected "Big Country" and sued for $750,000 and "damages" resulting from Fox's breach. Fox offered the affirmative defense that "she unreasonably refused to accept its offer" for "Big Country".
Ruling
MacLaine was granted the full $750,000. Fox appealed on grounds that she had the requirement to mitigate damages, she unreasonably refused to accept their follow-up offer, and damages should not include her salary which she might have had by accepting "Big Country." The court holds that no law states reasonableness as an element of her option to reject, seek, or fail to seek different or inferior employment. The role in "Big Country" was held as inferior than the role in "Bloomer Girl," given the plaintiff's singing and dancing skills. The plaintiff does have an affirmative duty to find other work, and should she find work, she can't recover wages she might have made. However, Fox did not raise this defense. The majority held that the contracts and roles between the two movies, and thus the work, were not equivalent. Appeal denied.
Dissent
Dissenting judge wrote that the contention is whether plaintiff acted reasonably in rejecting new offer. The rule mitigating damages is to preclude the recovery of damages that could have been avoided. There is an affirmative duty for the plaintiff to secure "equivalent" employment. Equivalent employment does not mean "not different or inferior" and "Big Country" was equivalent. The dissent also claimed that the majority opinion will subvert the mitigating rule as stated above.

Dale Pantalione
DALE PANTALIONE-born 9/11/74-Vineland, New Jersey.
vocals; acoustic / electric / bass guitars; piano/ mellotron / keys; percussion / samples.
Influences: The Beatles, John Cale, Pink Floyd, Ennio Morricone, Van Morrison, Radiohead, Peter Gabriel.
GENRE/DESCRIPTION: Experimental, atmospheric, emotional, funky, melodic and haunting. Known in the South Jersey music scene for his thought provoking lyrics, great gift for melody, and "spontaneous" writing and recording.
Dale's explored an eclectic range musical styles. Folk acoustic, rock, funk, to electronica/noise/ambient. Dale has been the creative force of many bands since the early 1990's, most notably during the period of 1995-2001, his work in LIQUID ECLIPSE (PLAGUED BY PHASES-2001) which he founded--an experimental band with interchangeable musicians and sounds.
Most recently Pantalione collaborated with Kent Green on IDENTICAL STRANGERS (STRANGE IDENTITY-2003). A project born out of MIND MUSIC ALCATRAZ-Pantalione's project of ambient work released in 1999, and was the basis for Green's film PREY. The two teamed together on several music videos for both Dale's solo work ("SAD SONG"-2005) and with Liquid Eclipse ("SHADOW OF THE SUN"-2001).
Dale has also released a string of solo recordings, (SOLAR BY POLAR-1998, BRING THE LIGHT UNDERGROUND-2004) most recently the acclaimed THEOMINOUS DRONE-2006, which has faired well in both America and the UK.
He continues to record for independent film (THE HEAD BALLET-1999, THE REALITY OF DESIREE'S DREAM-2000, PREY-2000, DEAD WITHIN-2002, BARREN-2005, CARVER-2006) and televison (REEL SHORTS-2003), most recently a 2008 scheduled horror triology for Emerald Productions, while continuing to push the boundaries of his own creativity.
In 2005 Dale briefly got back to performing live onstage after a 5 year hiatus from recording playing a handful of intimate shows that were spectacles in both light and sound, featuring fractals and projected images to accompany his atmospheric music.
2006 saw Dale perform his first-ever mix of original and contemporary classical compositions for a wedding, this inspiration and experimentation with chamber music will result in the composing of music for 2008's "Cepi Corpus" album.
Liquid Eclipse has been reformed and is touring to support "the Elements", a concept album, which features musicians from all different backgrounds. "the Elements" was released on Pantalione's birthday, September 11th.
Dale's original self-released recordings are available through Elsewhere Records, a small imprint he founded in 1997.
He currently resides in Richland, New Jersey, and accepts fan mail at dpantz74@yahoo.com

Waffling
Waffling, or to Waffle someone, is an email prank, where an email is sent from someone else's computer to an individual or group of individuals, pretending as if the person whose computer is being used is the actual sender. Waffling first began in 1997 at MuchMusic, a Canadian cable TV channel based in Toronto. Many of the producers shared communal computers, and one particular producer kept forgetting to log off his account before leaving the computer. This producers' co-worker Justin Stockman, sent an email to Rachel Perry, one of MuchMusic's on-air personalities at the time, pretending to be the producer who had not logged off his account. In this email, the producer unwittingly invited Rachel out for breakfast so they could enjoy some "tasty waffles". The producer eventually discovered the email had been sent when Rachel replied declining the invitation. The prank caught on and many people became victims of waffling when leaving their computers unattended. The best waffles always include an actual reference to waffles (or pancakes or maple syrup) in the body of the email. When Rachel Perry moved on to a new position in the US, she brought waffling with her, as have many employees who have moved on to other companies and locations. Eventually, the practice of waffling was cited in a 2002 Globe & Mail article about email pranks and to this day continues to spread around the world.

SingStar La Edad de Oro del Pop Español
SingStar La Edad de Oro del Pop Español (SingStar The Golden Age of Spanish Pop) is another PlayStation 2 karaoke game published by Sony Computer Entertainment Europe and developed by SCEE and London Studio. It is the tenth installment release in the SingStar line.
SingStar La Edad de Oro del Pop Español will come with two USB microphones that plug into the PlayStation 2 adaptor, offering an instant multi-play experience. The game will be also EyeToy compatible allowing players to actually see themselves singing within the game.
Game Overview
SingStar La Edad de Oro del Pop Español is a popular game in which players sing to music videos in order to score points. Players interface with their Playstation 2 via USB microphones while a music video plays on screen. Lyrics are shown at the bottom of the screen. SingStar La Edad de Oro del Pop Español matches a player's song voice to the original track, with players scoring points according to how accurate their singing is. Usually, two players compete simultaneously. Certain modes of the game may vary this basic pattern, but the principle is similar throughout. This installment of SingStar is based on 80's Spanish popular hits.

Missed The Punchline
Miised the Punchline are a 4 piece Punk rock outfit from Southampton UK. Theyre songs include hits such as Running and the world is turning emo and it sucks.
The later of these two songs has caused some criticism from the emo population of the world. But they follow trends so their opinion is worthless.

Recent rumours suggest that Jordan Ogden is no longer a part of the band and that the remaining three members are openly looking for a new bassist, however no sources claim this to be true
