The racial makeup of the village was 96.86% White, 0.67% African American, and 2.47% from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 0.45% of the population.
There were 183 households, out of which 22.4% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 54.64% were married couples living together, 4.92% had a female householder with no husband present, and 40.44% were non-families. 38.80% of all households were made up of individuals, and 21.31% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older.
