Disambiguation link notification for September 6

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Capital accumulation, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages Rent and Profit. Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ

Reverting and Removal

Stop reverting or removing valid information on the Colin Mochrie article. You don't remove valid information from an article. Stop editing based on how you feel. That's not how Wikipedia works. You edit with facts and sources. Her birth name has every right to be in the article. Further removal of information or reverting of edits will lead to you being dealt with by administrators. Either leave it or go request a comment. What you're doing is disruptive. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 06:13, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

I added an RfC to the Talk page per your request. Thank you. --WhyBeNormal (talk) 22:53, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
I moved what you said on my talk page here. Keep it all in one spot. That's what I do if you were to start a discussion on my talk page. Use {{Ping|Fishhead2100}} or {{u|Fishhead2100}} so I get notified of a response. With that being said, let's wait and see if what others have to say. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 00:07, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
Ah, ok, thanks for letting me know. I think that ping function was introduced after I stopped being super involved as a Wikipedian some years back. I appreciate that. Template:Ping --WhyBeNormal (talk) 02:29, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
I looked at your contribution history and it's been around for a number of years. Not everybody knows about everything on Wikipedia. Mr. C.C.Hey yo!I didn't do it! 02:55, 16 December 2020 (UTC)Reply

Your signature

Please be aware that your signature uses deprecated <font> tags, which are causing Obsolete HTML tags lint errors. Also, your font tags are not closed, causing the high priority lint error Multiple unclosed formatting tags. This must be fixed immediately, because the unclosed font tags can leak to the end of the page, as can be seen in Your contribution to Talk:Colin Mochrie before I fixed it.

Additionally, your signature goes against WP:SIGLEN, which says to avoid signature strings longer than 255 characters.

Usually, in messages like this, I provide a workaround signature that matches the user's signature as closely as possible, while complying with HTML5 and Wikipedia guidelines. However, in this case, your signature string is far too long to do that. However, as I guide, I'll just say that the markup

<font face="Georgia">...</font>

is replaced in HTML5 with

<span style="font-family:Georgia">...</font>

and the bold markup around it can be merged in as

<b style="font-family:Georgia">...</b>

The markup

<font color="#092F09">...</font> (with the closing font tag)

is replaced in HTML5 with

<span style="color:#092F09">...</span>

So have fun with it, but please address these issues before you use your signature again. —Anomalocaris (talk) 22:36, 15 December 2020 (UTC)Reply
