Image Tagging Image:Veryank1.jpg

Warning sign
This media may be deleted.
Script error: No such module "Check for unknown parameters".

Thanks for uploading Image:Veryank1.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this media yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the media on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the media yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.

If the media also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then you can use Template:Tl to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media qualifies as fair use, please read fair use, and then use a tag such as Template:Tlp or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other media, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Dethomas 18:08, 10 March 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hi!

Hello! I saw your edits at Montoneros, and, being a bit too much curious, found out that you were a law librarian. So I allow myself to attract your attention on Augusto Pinochet's arrest and trial and universal jurisdiction entries, which both would benefit from some scholarly improvement. Now that the trial of Pinochet has been unexpectedly suspended (although much of the cases continue to be investigated), it is a bit easier achieving a stable version of this page. Hope you don't mind this notice, fare well ! Tazmaniacs 00:48, 20 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Hkcases.jpg)

File:Ambox warning blue.svg Thanks for uploading Image:Hkcases.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. AfD nomination of F+A Architects

File:Ambox warning pn.svg

I have nominated F+A Architects, an article you created, for deletion. I do not think that this article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and have explained why at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/F+A Architects. Your opinions on the matter are welcome at that same discussion page; also, you are welcome to edit the article to address these concerns. Thank you for your time. Nu-Way article

As you probably noticed I have made some edits to the Nu-Way article. I see that you created it and have contributed to the majority. I was just going to let you know I am not trying to take it over. I had been wanting to make a Nu-Way article for a long time, but never got around to it. Next time I looked into creating it, it was already done. I have tried to do some updating and revision. I went back and tried to make my citations similar to yours so that it would look clean and more uniform. I still have some things I had planning on adding. The main one is creating a section just for features, and recognitions. There have been numerous ones, and I figured that would be a good addition. That would add to the content and to the overall notability. Let me know if you have any ideas to work on or if you have any problems with my edits. Let you know your thoughts on it. Thanks. I am back in Macon for the weekend (been away at college). I can take some pictures if you need me to. I am not sure exactly how to upload them and all, but I am sure I could figure it out. Also what pictures would we need? Just the one downtown? If so, the sign or the "storefront"? I always go to the one at Zebulon, but I don't know how that would go over since that is only one in the chain, not the main one. Let me know whenever you can. I may go ahead and take some tomorrow downtown anyway, since you probably won't have time to respond. Just let me know what you think. Brinkley32 (talk) 05:26, 9 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Request for help concerning energy...

Hi,

I noticed you listed yourself as a participant of the Energy WikiProject.

There are 2 new outlines in this area that attempt to consolidate Wikipedia's coverage of their respective subjects, gathering and organizing the articles about them into one place and including descriptions for convenience. The purposes of these outlines are to make it easier for readers to survey or review a whole subject, and to choose from Wikipedia's many articles about it.

The new energy outlines are:

Please take a look at them, and....

if you spot missing topics, add them in.
if you can, improve the descriptions.
add missing descriptions.
show parent-offspring relationships (with indents).
fix errors.

For more information about the format and functions of outlines, see Wikipedia:Outlines.

Building outlines of existing material (such as Wikipedia) is called "reverse outlining". Reverse outlines are useful as a revision tool, for identifying gaps in coverage and for spotting poor structuring.

Revising a work with multiple articles (such as Wikipedia) is a little different than revising a paper. But the general principles are the same...

As you develop these outlines, you may notice things about the articles they organize. Like what topics are not adequately covered, better ways to structure and present the material, awkward titles, articles that need splitting, article sections lacking Template:Tl links, etc.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask me on my talk page or at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Outlines.

Thank you. Sincerely, The Transhumanist 00:58, 2 June 2012 (UTC)Reply

P.S.: see also Outline of energy

Proposed deletion of Robert Siegel (architect)

File:Ambox warning yellow.svg

The article Robert Siegel (architect) has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

No evidence of notability: only ref is from his own firm's website.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the Template:Tlc notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing Template:Tlc will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. PamD 06:57, 9 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre Managed by Hilton

<templatestyles src="Template:Quote_box/styles.css" />

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

Script error: No such module "Check for unknown parameters".

A tag has been placed on King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre Managed by Hilton, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. The World Destubathon

Hello. You're invited to participate in The World Destubathon. We're aiming to destub a lot of articles and also improve longer stale articles. It started today on Monday June 16 and will run until Sunday July 13. There is over $3300 going into it, with $500 the top prize and around $340 (£250) worth of prizes for Architecture articles, both global and for the UK and Ireland. If you are interested in winning something to save you money in buying books for future content, or just see it as a good editathon opportunity to see a lot of articles improved for subjects which interest you, sign up on the page in the participants section if interested. Even if you can only manage a few articles they would be very much appreciated and help make the content produced as diverse and broad as possible! ♦ Dr. Blofeld 10:27, 16 June 2025 (UTC)Reply
