Ludowika Jakobsson

I corrected the spellings in your article Ludowika Jakobsson. The word meaning inhabitant of Finland is spelled "Finnish" with two n's. "Finish" means to stop. I also deleted the category Finish figure skaters and replaced it with Finnish figure skaters.

Herma Szabo

Hello Uwe. Could you help me with this article? I have a few questions about Herma's mother and father, questions you may be able to answer because you understand German better than I do.

Are Christine von Szabo and Christine Schäfer the same person? (See Karl Schäfer.) Is Herma their child? I have been referencing all the relevant articles in English and German, as well as http://www.engelmann.co.at/k_history.htm, but I can't figure it out.

Also, am I missing anything major from de:Herma Szabo?

The wife of Karl Schäfer was Christine Schäfer. She was the daughter of Eduard Engelmann jr., the owner of the Vienna-Hernals ice rink. Christine von Szabo is the sister of him, Eduard Englemann jr., so both women are two different persons. Christine von Szabo is the mother of Herma Szabo. I have no clue why the "von" got lost. Herma Szabo was obviously several times merried, thats why there are so many permutations of her name. So in the German article I decided to put her just under de:Herma Szabo. Eduard Engelmann jr. is son of Eduard Engelmann senior. What else do you need to know about Herma Szabo? I do not really understand your question. The link is refering to the correct German article. Hey. :) I find a lot of new skating articles in one of two ways: either by already having the red link on my watchlist, or by clicking on the "contribs" link next to a name. As for results pages, I would love it if you made them! It's hard for me to find online results for competitions that took place before 1999 and I think it would be wonderful to have those results on wikipedia. Project news Criteria for B-Class status: The assessment criteria for B-Class have been changed. {{WikiProject Germany}} template now has 5 switches, B-Class-1 through B-Class-5 that correspond to 5 easily checked criteria that an article should meet to be assessed as B-Class. The advantage of this system is that now there is a clear boundary between Start-Class and B-Class articles. Authors of articles that were assessed as Start-Class now get more direct feedback what they should improve to attain a B-Class rating. All of our B-Class, Start-Class and Stub-Class articles now need to be checked whether they meet any of the B-Class criteria. This is a major effort, and we need your help! If you want to help, but don't know how, please post at the project talkpage. Cities and municipalities task force A task force dedicated to creating and improving articles on all German cities and municipalities has been started and is looking for help.

re: United States flag

Hi. Thanks so much for all the articles you've created! I've been using the articles Flag of the United States and Flag of Canada to find out when the flags for those countries changed. According to the Flag of the United States article, the current US flag ( Template:Flagicon {{flagicon|USA}} ) was put into effect a few months after the 1960 World Championships, so there is no special US flag for 1962. About the competitorslist of pairs of the WCH figureskating 1966 in Davos: on skatabase they mention a number of 14, you in your article 1966 World Figure Skating Championships a number of 15.

The AUT pair Schönbauer / Bietak ranked 14 (with a placingscore of 124) is the different pair. Do you know what’s right in these? Are you right (as following the: Result List provided by the ISU) or eskatefans?

Hello, sorry for being not online for so long. I have checked the ISU result list. The Austrians Schönbauer / Bietak were 14th and Csordás / Kondi from Hungary were place 15th. The editor of Skatabase must have forgottem them. However i found a mistake in the placings of the Canadiens (It was obviously not 1118, it was 118) in my article, so i had a chance to correct that. Keep asking, i am quite equipped with result lists, I go to libraries and search for old results. Europeans and Worlds of Figure skating are also published by the ISU (International Skating Union). Europe 10,000 Challenge invite
