Query

Hi, I was looking through the academic sources, and though there are definitely papers that Boyd has authored or co-authored, where her name is lowercased, I could not locate any academic sources that are about Boyd, to see how third-party academics were treating the issue. Note I'm not talking about sources which simply cite one of Boyd's papers, or where her name is listed with dozens of others, but instead I am interested in sources that actually have text that quotes or otherwise discusses Boyd. Can you think of any? --Elonka 06:39, 14 January 2009 (UTC)Reply

Re: Django "initial release"

Hi, glad you asked. This is based on a loose guideline in Template:Tl for the "released" parameter (read it .. it is quick to see). The idea is that all software has initial phases of development, but is only considered to be production-worthy at version 1.0 and above. Version 1.0 of any software is generally regarded as a significant milestone. This is just a guideline, and I don't know lots about Django. If you can pinpoint a milestone <1.0 that is regarded as the release stable enough, then set this. But generally, this should not be a beta release. +mt 05:31, 7 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
