twin galaxies bounties

Can you say more about the bounties, where they were announced, and what is owed? that would help others update the article... it's hard to find out too much detail from the online listings. +sj + —Preceding signed but undated comment was added at 07:56, 17 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Formation and evolution of the solar system

Why you remove the artificial structure of Earth from the article and end of the planet Earth. Then why we have the image on the Earth?--Freewayguy (Comm 90) 00:31, 17 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Because the image is awful? -- SamSim (talk) 18:17, 17 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Earth

What about the artist conception of artifical Earth pic, should it be remove from the article as well? If you did it to Formation and evolution of the solar system that tells me I should do it to Earth article too. --Freewayguy (Comm 90) 03:39, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

I don't know what image you're talking about. SamSim (talk) 13:29, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Im talking about the pict of Earth surface when sun is 100 times current diameter when in about 5 to 6 billion years on Earth article. --Freewayguy (Comm 90) 20:50, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

Oh right, you're still talking about the same image. Well, yes, the image is still awful and should be removed from any pages it appears on. The structures are pixellated, they don't look like they could survive even hundreds of years, let alone billions, and they don't even have shadows! -- SamSim (talk) 22:29, 26 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
