Megatokyo, Chicken's aren't supposed to moo, I caused problems, you caused some too.

Eeek. It would seem I have misguidedly moved Megatokyo characters, thinking that the article was at MegaTokyo (when it is actually at Megatokyo! My mistake. Very big mistake on my part. Should have seen the little redirect message. Big blunder on my part. Very big blunder.

That being said (yes, half of this mess is my problem), I would like to inform you about how to properly revert a page move. You do not cut and paste content to a page.

By doing this, you have effectively destroyed the Page History of Megatokyo characters. See here: [1] There's a reason why there is a page move function. See here for an indepth explanation of how MediaWiki manages moves: [2] You can, in fact, move a page back, when the page history of the redirect is only including the actual creation of the redirect.

Just notifying you. There's not much we can do now (Because the redirect now has a history besides the original creation, we cannot move the article back. Yes, we pretty much are. That's how it's consistently used on the Wikipedia. That's how Fred spells it, see here for lots of examples. It's also how Dark Horse spells it. Rodney Caston's preferred spelling seems to be MegaTokyo, though. --SKopp 15:44, 6 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Megatokyo opening paragraph

I never know if it's better to reply in-place or on the other user's homepage. In place creates a much more readable thread, here gives more visibility and the "you got message" automatic message.. well.. I replied there, and put this notice here =P

POV problem

Your edits to the Wehrmacht article are not acceptable. I don't know if gross violations of the NPOV policy are usual practice at the German Wikipedia, but we don't accept such POV language here at the English one. If you cannot accept this, you should leave our English Wikipedia alone. -- 83

Hi SKopp. I noticed your comment on WP:IFD. I'd appreciate if you would comment at Commons:Commons:Deletion requests#Image:Jason II (Joseph Beuys).jpg. A photograph of a sculpture, Commons:Image:Jason II (Joseph Beuys).jpg, has been nominated for deletion with the reasoning that "While the photography may be in the PD, the work of art is certainly not". Low German

Just because the definition as a separate language isn't accepted by you, doesn't mean it's not "universally accepted". Any linguist will tell you that it is indeed considered a separate language. I wonder how you achieved to suppress the animation in the thumbnail image in the Prime number article. In comparison, e.g. in the Optical illusion article, a thumbnail image is animated if its corresponding full-resolution image is. However, inspecting the articles' and the image pages' source, I couldn't find the difference. Would you tell me your trick?
