Wikics template
Hi Postrach! I've just created a new template to indicate English Wikipedia users who also contribute to the Czech Wikipedia.
Feel free to add it to your userboxes if you like it. Happy Easter. Daniel Šebesta (talk • contribs) 08:17, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
Thx, i used it with pleasure. --Postrach 08:40, 14 April 2006 (UTC)
Pole
- What do you mean by "the same meaning"? Is it the main meaning in English? It doesn't work because it is a disambiguation page : i.e. it has several meanings in each language. Marc Mongenet (talk) 13:32, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
- You have broken my work. :-( See Pole, the italian interwiki goes to it:Polo. But it:Polo goes to en:Polo (disambiguation). Everything is mixed again! Marc Mongenet (talk) 14:09, 25 March 2008 (UTC)
I found Your changes in cs wiki. Czech (and similar slovak and poland) word cs:pole has the same meaning as english en:field. Czech (and also slovak) cs:pól is equvivalent of english en:pole. Those changes ([1], [2]) are then wrong. Polo is used in czech for Marco Polo, or as a first part of word it mean half-. Polo sports are pólo (with long ó letter) in czech lang. --Postrach (talk) 08:05, 27 March 2008 (UTC)
A request for help
Hi there. I noticed that you edit the Czech Wikipedia, have contributed to the English Wikipedia recently and have done some edits on the Jetix article on the Czech Wikipedia. I am wondering if you could help me. I started an article on TV3 with lots of references. I am having trouble understanding the information from a website radiotv.cz, written entirely in Czech. It has lots of articles on TV3 which could help improve the article, but I can't speak or read Czech and translating the text into English isn't working well. I am wondering if you could help me on the TV3 article, or know of any editors who can understand Czech who could help. Please feel free to respond on my talk page. Thank you very much.
P.S. I understand that your English isn't perfect. I can always help out cleaning things up. --tgheretford (talk) 23:10, 23 July 2008 (UTC)
December 2014
File:Information.svg Hello, I'm BracketBot. I have automatically detected that your edit to Leni Riefenstahl may have broken the syntax by modifying 1 "()"s. If you have, don't worry: just edit the page again to fix it. If I misunderstood what happened, or if you have any questions, you can leave a message on my operator's talk page.
- List of unpaired brackets remaining on the page:
- 59) "Leni Riefenstahl: A Life" by Jurgen Trimborn
- 60) "Leni: The Life & Works of Leni Riefenstahl" by Streven Bach.
It's OK to remove this message. Also, to stop receiving these messages, follow these opt-out instructions. Thanks, BracketBot (talk) 09:29, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
- I forgot right bracket. Corrected. --Postrach (talk) 10:15, 9 December 2014 (UTC)
