Long time no see

Nice to see you here on Wikipedia (re Talk:LR parser, et al). You may remember me (and Mark Harrison) from VISystems circa 1988. — Loadmaster (talk) 21:33, 24 May 2011 (UTC)Reply

Hi, it is my understanding you were trying to delete File:LRGenOverview.jpg. As it is unused and you were the original uploader, I've deleted it, hope that's what you meant. Snowolf How can I help? 21:13, 4 December 2011 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. LR(*) parser

Paul, unfortunately for the article LR(*) parser, Wikipedia can not accept original research. If you are indeed the only person to use this algorithm, it is your original research and is therefore not appropriate for Wikipedia. Because of this, I will be nominating the article for deletion. If you wish to have your idea published, you should pursue this in computer science journals or possibly the news media. Oiyarbepsy (talk) 01:14, 1 April 2018 (UTC)Reply
