Ahmadinejad photo
You do seem to be right, and you are right that the news agencies (particularly Iran Focus, but it's being circulated everywhere now) haven't brought a clear basis for circling who they did. However, you should be aware that changing the article as you did is technically a violation of the Wikipedia:No original research policy. If you could contact any reputable media outlet and have them agree to you about the photo (and then publish/broadcast accordingly), you could change the photo back. By the way, I indicated on the photo summary that the claim made through the photo was made by Iran Focus (while otherwise people would mistakenly think that the hostages themselves had identified the fellow circled in red). Thanks for your efforts, and keep editing! HKT 1 July 2005 21:29 (UTC) P.S. I moved your talk page edit to the bottom of the page; that's where new edits should be put. Also, some other people will get annoyed or give less credence to your posts if you don't sign your name. You can sign by following your posts with 4 tildes. HKT 1 July 2005 21:37 (UTC)

Thanks for uploading Image:Correct-Claimed-to-be-ahmadinejad.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that your image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If your image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why your image was deleted. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Shyam (T/C) 21:49, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
