- Try the Tutorial, and feel free to experiment in the test area.
- If you need help, post a question at the Help Desk
- Eventually, you might want to read the Manual of Style and Policies and Guidelines.

Good luck!

Without knowing what IP you use, I cannot do anything to unblock you.—Ryūlóng (竜龍) 20:56, 3 August 2007 (UTC)
Why have I been blocked?
Why I am still blocked.
I sent a long email to Ryulong 24 hours or more ago asking for some information why I was blocked from editing, and I have still received no reasoning why I have been blocked.
Will ANY administrator reading this please rescind this blocking straight away, and without any further delay - I am now very annoyed that no-one has bothered to have the courtesy to inform me why this nonsensical action was taken in the first place!!
Thank You Netsnipe!
Thank you Netsnipe for unblocking me - I am still annoyed that Ryuolong or whoever else was involved in blocking me cannot be bothered to explain why they wasted my time in the first place, and give a small - needed - apology!Mwmonk 13:52, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
- 86.145.60.53 appears to be a dynamic IP address. As you can see from Template:User-multi, it was previously used for vandalism in May 2007 and may have belonged to a compromised host at that time. -- Netsnipe ► 15:55, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
The article Brian Hooper has been proposed for deletion because, under Wikipedia policy, all newly created biographies of living persons must have at least one reference to a reliable source that directly supports material in the article. The nominator also raised the following concern:
- All biographies of living people created after March 18, 2010, must have references.
If you created the article, please don't be offended. Instead, consider improving the article. For help on inserting references, see Referencing for beginners, or ask at the help desk. Once you have provided at least one reliable source, you may remove the Template:Tl tag. Please do not remove the tag unless the article is sourced. If you cannot provide such a source within ten days, the article may be deleted, but you can request that it be undeleted when you are ready to add one. Hi, I have added a range of sources to the Brian Hooper article, and have removed the tag. Mwmonk (talk) 11:44, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
Just wondering whether you are planning to cite some sources for your recent addition to this article. If not then I am afraid it will have to be removed. Please take a look at WP:RS and WP:CITE. Thanks.
- Yes, I am sourcing as I go along. I am adding the table and information first, then adding sources all at the same time. A lot of these results come from the same sources so it is easier to cut and paste them all at once. I can add them here first if you are anxious. All the information is easily checkable online. Mwmonk (talk) 20:10, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
- This is now done. As I research other sources and expand this section I will of course reference throughout. Mwmonk (talk) 20:23, 28 September 2011 (UTC)
- OK, looks good! – ukexpat (talk) 01:33, 29 September 2011 (UTC)

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Superstars, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages John Regis and Joe Lydon (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ
