Welcome!

Welcome to Wikipedia, Millard73! My name is Ryan, aka Acetic Acid. I noticed that you were new and haven't received any messages yet. I just wanted to see how you were doing. Wikipedia can be a little intimidating at first, since it uses different formatting than other sites that use HTML and CSS. In the long run, though, you'll find that the WikiSyntax is a lot easier and faster than those other ways. Here are a few links to get you started:

There are a lot of policies and guides to read, but I highly recommend reading over those first. If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page. Please be sure to sign your name on Talk Pages using four tildes (~~~~) to produce your name and the current date, along with a link to your user page. This way, others know when you left a message and how to find you. It's easier than having to type out your name, right? :)

I hope you enjoy contributing to Wikipedia. We can use all the help we can get! Have a nice day. Sincerely, Acetic'Acid 04:40, September 13, 2005 (UTC)

Regarding edits made during July 12 2006 (UTC) to Warrington

Please do not replace Wikipedia pages or sections with blank content. It is considered vandalism. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thanks. ZsinjTalk 20:25, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Note to all editors, including admins: I do not believe this edit was vandalism, as it was clearly not intentional. Zsinj tagged this as vandalism before Millard73 had a chance to correct an editing error. Millard73 has been a Wikipedia member since September 2005 and has been making quality edits to numerous articles for over six months. He does not deserve to be called a vandal by an overzealous peer. --Satori Son 21:14, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Hi! I, in no way, ment to incriminate you nor make you look like a negative contributor. In fact, I would like to ask you what may be a strange question: Do you use FireFox? --ZsinjTalk 22:39, 12 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
Yes, I was using Firefox to try and edit the page. I haven't had a chane to go back and try it with something else. I should've noticed something was wrong. I wonder if there was a size limit to my editing box or some such...--Millard73 14:50, 13 July 2006 (UTC)Reply
It's actually a minor bug with FireFox. It's rare, but does happen. :-) --ZsinjTalk 16:02, 15 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Re: Thanks

If you have AIM or a messenger account like that, I can talk to you in real time like that. I'm so frazzled with work to write a really nice message explaining what we need here. My AIM name is on my profile, IM me anytime. Mike H. I did "That's hot" first! 07:18, 14 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
