Quarters vs. "terms" at Caltech
Hello, Mhartl!
I just noticed your edits of the article about Caltech. I'm curious why you changed the word "quarter" to "term" throughout the article. The terms were called "quarters" when I was a student there, and as far as I know, that's still the terminology the school uses to describe its academic schedule.
Would you please explain why you made this change? Thanks! DavidCBryant 16:56, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
- OK, thanks for the explanation, Mhartl. Happy New Year! DavidCBryant 20:44, 26 December 2006 (UTC)
{{unblock|1=I just power-cycled my cable modem, and my ISP must have assigned me a new dynamic (and blocked IP), since I made an edit as recently as this morning. I am a Wikipedian in good standing with years of (mostly minor) edits; I hope you'll unblock this IP as soon as you can.}}
- I need to know what your IP is so I can unblock it- your account itself isn't blocked so it's probably an autoblock. HJ Mitchell | Penny for your thoughts? 00:18, 7 June 2010 (UTC)

I think that your suggestion that it should be axed is quite unnecessarily brutal! ;-) Amandajm (talk) 05:33, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
