Matthias,

I believe the more common name was God Committee rather than God Squad. Both may have been in use, however, I only heard the first. In either case, both were a nickname for the committee created by the ammendment to the ESA.

article fix

Hello again, if you feel like it, would you have any perspective on the Energy bill of 2005? I would like to fix the article from its current state but I don't feel I know enough about the law yet. I guess any change would be for the better though. Or do you think it would be better off deleted?

Winfield Scott

Hello. I recently stumbled across the article you created, Winfield Scott (ship). It piqued my interest so I've been expanding it recently. If you have any other resources or insights regarding the Winfield Scott that you can share, I'd love to hear them. Thanks! --cholmes75 (chit chat) 20:36, 11 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion of Texmaco Group

File:Nuvola apps important.svg

A tag has been placed on Texmaco Group requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a company or corporation, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not indicate the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for companies and corporations.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding Template:Tl to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. September 2009

File:Information.svg Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, you may not know that Wikipedia has a Manual of Style that should be followed to maintain a consistent, encyclopedic appearance. Using different styles throughout the encyclopedia, as you did in Harpactorinae, makes it harder to read. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 00:29, 25 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

File:Information.svg Please do not use styles that are unusual, inappropriate or difficult to understand in articles, as you did in Ghilianella. There is a Manual of Style that should be followed. Thank you. Eeekster (talk) 00:31, 25 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Wait a second! I just added in the authors' names and the publication! The reference isn't much good without them. Matthias5 (talk) 00:43, 25 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

File:Nuvola apps important.svg Please do not vandalize pages, as you did with this edit to Harpactorinae. If you continue to do so, you will be blocked from editing.  Blanchardb -MeMyEarsMyMouth- timed 00:41, 25 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

You've been loved by IShadowed

File:Crystal Clear app package favourite.png Hey there! IShadowed has loved you by placing a heart icon in the top-right corner of your userpage. Don't worry, it's not vandalism, but simply a small way to spread the WikiLove. If you don't really like it, feel free to revert it and make it go away, and no hard feelings; after all, it's just a small token of appreciation. If you like it, just add your name here, but again, there's no need to feel upset if you don't. Love and best wishes,  IShadowed  ✰  22:20, 20 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

You are now a Reviewer

File:Redaktor Wikipedia 600px.png

Hello. Your account has been granted the "<templatestyles src="Mono/styles.css" />reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, will be commencing a two-month trial at approximately 23:00, 2010 June 15 (UTC).

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under flagged protection. Flagged protection is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 03:09, 16 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please make use of Template:Tl for new taxonomy articles

I'm appreciative of your work in creating new taxonomy articles, but please make use of Template:Tl for citing scientific papers – that way I won't need two edits (see the example of Aradelloides) to format the citation optimally, and get the useful DOI/PMID fields added.
