A welcome from Sango123

Hello, Lotsofthings, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions; I hope you like the place and decide to stay. We're glad to have you in our community! Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Though we all make goofy mistakes, here is what Wikipedia is not. If you have any questions or concerns, don't hesitate to see the help pages or add a question to the village pump. The Community Portal can also be very useful.

Happy Wiki-ing!

P.S. Feel free to leave a message on my talk page if you need help with anything or simply wish to say hello. :)

Thank you for your additions, but please include more context in the articles you create. --Several Times 17:16, 9 August 2005 (UTC) Ok --Lotsofthings 17:17, 9 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Some of your articles may be deleted

First off, welcome, and thanks for contributing. You might notice that several of your articles are being deleted. To help you understand why, you should probably read some of the links provided above, particularly WP:NOT. Some of your articles are dictionary definitions, or are things that ought to be included if neccessary in existing articles. If some of your articles end up deleted, please don't take it personally, it happens all the time. You might find your time is better spent editing existing articles rather than making new ones, until you've become more familiar with the project. Friday 17:29, 9 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

They need to be looked at by wikipedians. --Lotsofthings 17:34, 9 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Please slow down, and be more careful. And please, read the links given above. You're making quite a lot of work for other editors who now must clean up after you. Friday 17:39, 9 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Ok

Factual disputes

You only need to include the disputed template once, not twice. Also, it is customary to discuss the dispute on the Talk page. Otherwise no one knows what you're disputing, or why. Friday 17:42, 9 August 2005 (UTC) I'am disputing Script error: No such module "Unsubst". The thory of the bible and Jesus Christ. Bird creature I need to know more about and everything else. I'am half asleep andReply

Please be aware that articles like that get a lot of attention. They're probably the result of careful compromise between people of different points of view. You probably want to familiarize yourself with the relevant talk pages, and if you still dispute something, add a note to the talk page explaining what you dispute, and why. Stop it. Quit putting disputed tags everywhere. Jdavidb 17:58, 9 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

You know dispute I dispute against Urlacher err and Lewis steroids~

Please, if you really dispute things, explain why on the talk page INSTEAD of putting in the disputed tag. Your explanation on Talk:Hawaii of "it is an island not a state" is not sufficient to warrant using the disputed tag. ALso, please sign your comments (but NOT articles) by hitting ~ four times in a row. Friday 18:02, 9 August 2005 (UTC)Reply

Please slow down

Please, take some time and read the links people have provided for you here. I don't think you understand what Wikipedia is meant to be. Specifically, the "disputed" tag you keep adding to articles is meant for factual disputes about the content of the article. It is not meant to be applied to every subject you disapprove of. An athlete using steriods is no cause for the disputed tag. Some articles discuss steriod use, when there is verifiable information about the subject's use (or non-use) of steroids. Again, please read the links you've been sent. Some editors may assume your edits are vandalism, even if that is not how they are intended. Friday 18:11, 9 August 2005 (UTC)Reply
