Introduction to contentious topics

Just a note on a key point here. As you do not meet the extended confirmed requirements, you can only make edit requests relating to the Arab–Israeli conflict and this applies to any page on wikipedia. Therefore, you should not participate further in the discussion Talk:Mika Tosca#She no longer works at SAIC as while the circumstances of her leaving are not clear, they came on the heels of some comments she made relating to the conflict which were criticised by some, as your own non RS noted. So even if you did not originally mentioned the conflict directly, the discussion has moved on to whether to include mention of her comments on the conflict so the discussion is now sufficiently related to the conflict that only EC editors can participate in it. I'd argue it always was, but it doesn't matter much here since you were probably not aware of the EC restriction. You're free to participate in other discussions on the Tpsca if they don't relate to the conflict although I'd urge caution noting it's your responsibility to stay away from edits you're not allowed to make. Notably if the article does end up at AFD, I'm not convinced a non EC editor could participate, however I expect an admin may make a judgment on that before it comes up. But more generally you also need to stay away from the conflict anywhere else except when making edit requests. As I am on a wikibreak, if you have any questions over this in the next few weeks, I'd suggest you seek help at the WP:Teahouse or WP:Help Desk or elsewhere.
