User talk:Duesentrieb

This is just my auxilliary account for working with the english WP. I'm not here often. If you want to talk to me, please go to my account at the German Wikipedia: de:Benutzer Diskussion:Duesentrieb or shoot me an e-mail. Also, please do not confuse me with User:Duesentrieb - that's not me.

Hi, thanks for creating the account. Now, if you'd give some better edit comments, it would be less confusing as to what you're doing. RickK 21:37, Aug 25, 2004 (UTC)

Hi, thanks so much for the CategoryTree extension. Duesentrieb, I just cant seem to get this to work. I like the tree NOT EXPANDED by default, but I cant get this to work. Any advice greatly appreciated. User:Sh336697

Extension:CategoryTree

I used Extension:CategoryTree at this category. The tree now is one column. Is there a way to make the tree two columns (e.g., colls="#" this would instruct the categorytree tag to lay it's contents over a number of columns)? If not, please add a parameter to Extension:CategoryTree to allow the CategoryTree to fall over two columns. Thanks. GregManninLB (talk) 16:20, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

MILF

I removed it because it is not supported sufficiently and does not seem relevant to material that should be on Wikipedia. I also added one. --Ŵïllî§ï$2 (talk) 00:22, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

You Used Wiktionary as support, but it says "Mother(s) I('d) like to Fuck" not "Mom I'd Like to Fuck." I put it as mother instead of mom on that page. I hope this will make us both happy. Thanks. --Ŵïllî§ï$2 (^Talk!/_Cont.) 20:33, 20 May 2008 (UTC)

Interpretation of data in the Contributor tool

How should "edits" be interpreted? For example, 183 (64/119), in this post retrieved from [1]:

183 (64/119) Peteb16 2006-10-01 11:21 2010-03-11 20:56

My guess is 183 edits in total of which 64 edits have been reverted and 119 edits have survived?

Wikimedia Stories Project

My name is Victor Grigas and I'm a Storyteller at the Wikimedia Foundation. We're exploring new ways to explain why Wikipedia is so special and we’ve started a Wikipedia Stories Project, where we’re chronicling the inspiring stories of the Wikipedia community, especially editors and active contributors in the movement like you. I'll be traveling to Wikimania next month to collect stories for our 2011 Fundraiser. While there I'd love the chance to meet with you and hear your thoughts about Wikipedia. We’ll have a schedule of available times for you to sign up if you’re interested, but right now, we’d like to make the initial contact to gauge your interest. Please let me know by emailing me at vgrigas@wikimedia.org or responding on my talk page.

thank you,

Speedy deletion nomination of OpenLink (TI wireless connectivity)

File:Ambox warning pn.svg

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on OpenLink (TI wireless connectivity), requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.
