Obituary: Nathan ____ Jaramillo.

By telephone from SALT LAKE CITY -- Nathan Jaramillo died sometime last week.[1] He is Trina and Todd Jaramillo's son. He was sleeping in a chair or baby-car-seat at a day-care in Herriman, Utah, where his parents live, when he mysteriously and suddenly died. We're moved--he was 11 months old. Yes. But there is no fear of his having more than expired at that date, although, surely, there are lots of perils in the world. The sad news was communicated secondhand to Mrs. Kathy Snow, his great-aunt and my Mother, by telephone. The coroner will take some six weeks before reporting on the cause of death, as is normal. Naturally my little cousin, once-removed, is survived by everybody. 30 Oct 2008----(talk) 03:56, [Word 1000]

Quoting "...A More Excellent Way", by Neal A. Maxwell

A precious little tidbit.

"Among the things which facilitate learning are the presence of agency and alternatives. No real growth can occur in the absence of alternatives. This is so easy to say, but its implications are so hard for most of us to accept. If we agree to the need for alternatives upon which our agency can operate, this means that part of our lives will inevitably be spent in the [management] of conflict and in resolving the conflicting ideas and drives within us and others. Learning is facilitated by a blend of agency and alternatives, if we are willing to commit ourselves to the resolution of resultant conflict over our choices." --pp. 45-6 (Copyright 1967, Deseret Book Co., Salt Lake City, Utah.)Dsnow75 [[User Talk: Dsnow75|Talk]] (talk) 22:02, 20 January 2014 (UTC)Reply
