I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Devuan for deletion, because it seems to be promotional, rather than an encyclopedia article.

Devuan is a fork of the Debian Linux distribution created as a response to the inclusion of systemd in Debian, and thus will include SysV Init as the default. Thus Devuan will join Slackware and Gentoo as a mainstream Linux distro without Systemd. More gerneally, Devuan ensures that "Debian packages won't become dependent on any single init system". Devuan is intended to "protect the freedom of its community of users and developers". Devuan is prononuced as "DevOne". The initial Devuan release is expected to be ready by the time that the next Debian release is ready, in order to provide a seamless upgrade path .
